NSSTA Workshop on the Indian Official Statistical System was a well-organized and informative event. Held in coordination with NSSO (FOD), MOSPI, Thiruvananthapuram, the workshop took place on January 21, 2025.
The presence of distinguished individuals, such as Prof. Dr. Bismi Gopalakrishnan, Registrar at MGU, and Dr. J. S. Tomar ISS, Deputy Director General at NSSTA, MOSPI, lent significant weight to the event. It must have been a great experience for all involved, especially with contributions from Sh. Vibeesh E. M ISS, Deputy Director General at NSSO FOD, Sh. Ankur Kumar, Joint Director at NSSTA, and Sh. Dushyant Kumar Parmar, JSO at NSSTA.
As part of the workshop we conducted ALL KERALA STATISTICS QUIZ competition in memory of Prof. P. C. Mahalanobis and Prof. C. R. Rao legends of statistics in India, with participants from various colleges.
